WoodCollector started making and selling carved wooden bitcoin artwork in late 2014 on the bitcointalk forums. The pieces were advertised as being hand carved but there is a lot of evidence that they were made using a laser engraver. Some of the artwork used was also found to be copied without permission of the original creator.

Despite the controversy WoodCollector created some very unique and beautiful pieces and are very collectible.
