These notes were made as a test for the final mass production version of the NFC notes.

Apply Bitcoin Wallet

  1. Download the recommended apps onto your device.
  2. Activate NFC in device settings. Scan either of the two NFC tags to view the instructions on the device.
  3. Visit https://walletgenerator.net/ and generate a Bitcoin wallet following the website instructions.
  4. Copy the Public Address of your generated wallet to the device clipboard.
  5. Open ‘NFC Tools’ and select the ‘Write’ tab.
  6. Select ‘Add a Record’ then select ‘Text’ and paste the Public Address into the box.
  7. Select ‘Write’ and hold your device over the ‘Public Key’ NFC tag until ‘Write Completed’ appears.
  8. Select the Text option under the ‘Write’ tab and press delete.
  9. Repeat steps 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 with the Private Address and Private Key NFC tag to load the private address.
  10. Place the foil provided over the ‘Private Key’ NFC tag and stick the security sticker on top. (This prevents a device from scanning your private key while the security sticker is in place).

Load Bitcoin onto Wallet

  1. Open the Coinomi app and create a wallet.
  2. Purchase Bitcoin.
  3. Open NFC Tools and read the Public Key NFC tag. Then copy the address to your device clipboard.
  4. Open your Coinomi or alternative wallet, under the ‘Send’ tab paste the address into the box and enter the desired amount of Bitcoin and select ‘Send’. (An alternative wallet app may only be used to load the note).

Retrieve Bitcoin

  1. Remove the security sticker and foil from the Private Key NFC tag.
  2. Open NFC Tools then scan the Private Key and copy the address to your device clipboard.
  3. Open Coinomi then under Bitcoin select the menu on the right hand side of the screen and select the ‘Sweep Wallet’ option.
  4. Paste the copied address to the ‘Private Key’ box and select next.
  5. Once the Bitcoin has arrived into the Coinomi wallet, open NFC Tools then select the ‘Other’ tab
  6. Select the ‘Erase Tag’ option and scan the NFC tags to remove the wallet from the note. For security reasons do not re-use the note.
