This was the first and so far the only coin to be released by Thales Mint.
I always loved the iconic design of the popular 3D render and always wanted to spread around something physical about Bitcoin to friends and strangers for awareness and fun. I also wanted to have the option to embed priv keys for more "fun" and a more fashionable cold storage. So the Delos coin was born, the process was fun and along with a friend ThalesMint was born with more plans for the future.
Obviously based on the popular design with some alterations due to constraints of the creation processes and the size. The coin has 26mm(~1.02 in.) diameter and 2.25mm(~0.09 in.) thickness. The metal is Nordic Gold (not actual gold, it's just a brand name) - it's actually a copper alloy - same with the Euro coins. The alloy's composition is 89% copper, 5% aluminium, 5% zinc, and 1% tin.
